Aluminum crucible is the main supporting tool in thermal analyzer and the carrier of sample. Aluminum is a silver-white metal, which is protected
from reaction with air and water due to its surface oxide layer. It is
easily soluble in dilute sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid,
sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide solutions, and hardly soluble
in water. Relative density 2.70. Melting point 660 ℃. Boiling point 2327
℃. It is widely used for its light, good electrical and thermal
conductivity, high reflectivity and oxidation resistance.
